However, I also found out some different attribute name of PM871b HP's smart data.

Does "HP" mean that this is a HP specific Version with an attribute set different from other PM871 drives?

If yes, is the Firmware pattern relevant to distinguish these?

Yes,
SAMSUNG PM871b supports various OEMs, and HP is one of them.
And you can distinguish the device with Firmware pattern.
Belowed FW Naming rule is the PM871b Firmware pattern.
FW : MVT(0|2)[0-9]H(3|6)Q
