cciss bug smartd/smartd with amd64 architecture

Description

Before, I use on it machine i386 distrib and 5.38 - all will be OK
now, we have:

backup1# smartctl -a --device=cciss,1 /dev/ciss0

Status: newclosed

No replies for ~13 months, no other reports about ciss device problems on bsd, so i assume that it is a bogus bug, killing it.
