Can't enable SMART on WD20EARS-00MVWB0

I can't enable SMART on this drive.
-s option, suggested by the output (see below) doesn't help.

So is this a bug in the drive so that nothing can be done by smarttools?
Or this is likely an issue in smarttools?

If SMART disable (including verification SMART is reported as disabled) and then re-enable actually work with other drives connected to same controller on this system, this is likely a drive firmware issue.

If possible, please test SMART enable with this drive on other system or and/or other OS (e.g. some Linux Live CD).

Thanks for the info. In the past, we got a positive report for the 1TB variant WDC WD10EARS-00MVWB0 with FW 50.0AB50 on the ​smartmontools-database list.
