Just compiled smartmontools 5.42 on CentOS 5.6, on a SuperMicro blade server with the LSI 2108 MegaRAID type raid controller. No good. Not sure if this is an underlying bug or user error on my part, but I have tried everything I am aware of and have found on the net so far without success.
