Description
Hi list,
I just encountered an USB hard drive which is "Not in smartctl database 7.3/5405" (I just updated the database).
On this drive, it is written TX Think Xtra (the brand name). There is no model written, but an internet search shows that it is very probably model HD320TX-BK. Brand homepage is http://www.txitalia.it/default.asp?lin=eng.
Device appears in lsusb: 067b:2773 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2773 SATAII bridge controller
As written on the website [1], I ran a short selftest and attached the smartctl -x output:
