Description

Whey the command "/smartctl -i -l selftest -l error -H -t short" returnned "Log Structure revision number 0"?

SMART Self-test log structure revision number 0
Warning: ATA Specification requires self-test log structure revision number = 1
No self-tests have been logged. [To run self-tests, use: smartctl -t]

What does 0 mean?

This means that the author of the drive firmware ignored this requirement from ATA standards:

A.20.2 Self-test log data structure revision number

The value of the self-test log data structure revision number shall be 0001h.

This is usually harmless.

This is a (usually harmless) drive firmware bug.
