The hard drive in the external USB3 8TB drive WD My Book 25DA 3002 is missing in database. I checked database online and wasn’t able to find the drive. I ran a short test and drive details are attached. I don’t know if the following information regarding the USB controller used in WD My Book 8TB is relevant. Running smartctl without -d returns an error in my system, i.e.: smartctl 6.5 2016-05-07 r4318 [FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p9 amd64] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-16, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org /dev/da3: Unknown USB bridge [0x1058:0x25da (0x3002)] Please specify device type with the -d option.
